Web Development and creating well designed layouts for websites.
I have proficient skills in HTML and CSS, which have made up this entire website that you see before you! I have gone beyond the essentials and have taken specialized courses in these languages with training in Sass as well.
My skills in JavaScript grow as I continue to work in the language and learn new skills with it, such as how to use closures, how to speed up the Call Stack and how to properly deconstruct and keep code DRY.
While new to the software, I am picking it up rather fast as a whole, and bringing my A-game to learning about the different libraries, the improved syntax of JSX and more.
AAs well as learning web development in college, I became well versed in the world of Videography, Video Editing and Photography resulting in earning a BA in Digital Communications.
Having many different work experiences as well as using and learning a multitude of varying technologies has made me well versed in different fields.
Having worked in both fast food and in local restaurants, I am used to faster, more stressful working environments, which has taught me how to manage stress and customer/client expectations, and pushed me to deliver a great product every time.
For several months I worked as plumber's assistant, Often having to carry 100+ pounds of various equipment, salts and marble, that experience has made me well attuned to the blue collar workers of America, and has helped me develop problem solving skills.
While in college I had the opportunity to be an assistant teacher in a few of my classes as well as a substitute teacher at my local high school. These experiences taught me how to talk to my peers, instill proper techniques, and constructively critique others' work.
Another profession I've taken part in is teaching software, specifically Adobe Lightroom, to older generations. This has helped me understand how to properly explain advanced software concepts, create structured lessons and it has taught me the virtue of patience.
